Recently the restaurant has been really busy.  We just had a great golden week, now that it’s come and gone we are expecting some slow downs.  Hopefully we did a great job and they will be returning or at the very least talking about us.  Surprisingly enough we get quite a few return Japanese guests, they come to us every year and remember what a great time they had.  I love it when I served a guest and they return and are so happy to see me.  There have been many celebrations lately , I am uncertain as to if this is a popular month to get married.  We have been blessed in that even though many restaurants in Hawaii have been closing we are still going strong.  It’s a sad sight to see, many restaurants that I really liked are closing.  Fortunately Ruth Chris is very popular not only in the U.S. but abroad as well.
