Recently my mom went on a business trip leaving me and my dad to fend for ourselves at home. This only happens once in a while but when it does, my dad and I hate it. The part we hate about it the most is that every night, we end up going out for dinner. My mom does all of the cooking when she is home so when she is gone, my dad and I are lost. We probably could try to make something but being the guys we are, we are just way too lazy. So for the past week, we have been going out trying all of these different places to eat. We went to Genki’s Sushi, Boston’s Pizza, One plus One, Korean Buffet, Zippy’s, Golden Duck, and a bunch of different restaurants. So finally when she came back it was such a relief. It made me realize how lost me and my dad are without mom and how much we appreciate her. And I think in life, we all need to appreciate the people closest to us sometimes because we take them for granted. We never know how important someone is until they’re gone so Appreciate!!
