One thing I miss about mainland shopping, is the variety of stores. I use to shop at IKEA, Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn and Target. Because Hawaii is a small Island, I understand why these stores aren’t here. I have heard that Target is trying to build some stores, but running into a lot of local resistance and I don’t think that the other stores would make a profit, mostly for the fact that many of the people that would be shopping here are visitors and are not going to buy home appliances or furniture. I still miss them.
