not too bright

It was raining during my drive to work this morning, and the cars going in the opposite direction were making huge, sheeting waves of water that came over the highway divide and splashed the cars on my side.  My windshield wipers don’t work really well, so I get kind of anxious in wet weather… when I saw one of those huge sheets of water coming at me, I closed my eyes and ducked!  That was really brainless.

    今朝、仕事場に運転しながら、雨が降っていました。反対の方向の車は大きいなみを作りました。なみがこうそくどうろのデバイダーの上に来て、私の前の車をしぶきました。私のワイパーがあまり良く動きませんですので、ぬれた天こうの間にちょっと気になります。それに、大きいなみが私に来ていることを見て、目をしめて、かがめました。私はばかです！

    アリソンさん、少し手をくわえました。

    今朝、職場に車で行く途中、ずっと雨が降っていました。高速道路の反対車線を走る車は、大きな波の板のような水しぶきをあげていました。それは、中央分離帯を越えて、私の車の方にかかってきました。

    実は、私の車のワイパーはあまり良く動かないので、雨の日はいつもそれが気になります。。。それで、大きな波のような水しぶきが私の車めがけて飛んで来るのを見ると、私は思わず目を閉じて身を縮めてしまいます。私って馬鹿ですね！
