Last week, my nice semi-new hollow tiled wall has become a canvass for much unappreciated graffiti. Words cannot express the disappointment as well as anger I have for the people who do this kind of stuff to other people’s property. I do appreciate looking at artwork from time to time but when it’s done on other people’s property without PERMISSION it really pisses me off. When I was growing up, there was a great deal of people who did graffiti or things like “tagging”, but I thought it had died down a little… I guess I wasn’t paying attention until my property was violated with this. People that do this stuff must have low self esteem to think that doing this stuff makes them look cool. Pretty sad. What they don’t realize is that the people whose property they damaged has to pay a lot of money to undo their handywork. Well, I don’t think they are going to lose sleep over it probably until they get older and have to deal with people that do that kind of stuff to them.
