Football Ceremony

Today, our Punahou football JV team had a season ending ceremony at this resturaunt in Manoa valley called, “Tree Tops”. It was a very big place, and it had to be, becuase it had to accomodate what I thought was 150+ people. Along with the 55 players, there were almost 100 parents and coaches, making about 150 total. The event started at 11 and ended at about 3, so we all got our money’s worth. There was a great feast, filled with lots and lots of scrumptious food. beef, chicken, potatoes, and salad filled the buffet, but as usual I took no part in the salad. Surrounded by friends, we had very good conversation, and we also had many thing to listen to so we could reflect on the seasons. The coaches and hosts were quite humorous, because everytime the coaches said something, everyone laughed together. It felt great that we were able to sit back and relax, but Im not sure if I wanted the season to be over. I dont know if I’m going to play football next year, due to all the studying I’ll have to do. Im glad I was able to experience something quite like this again.

私達は、楽しい時間をすごしました。 We had a good time.
