You know how palm trees in Hawaii have metal rings around them? (I think they’re so rodents can’t climb up the tree and gnaw on the coconuts. If they were able to do that, then the coconuts might be more likely to fall down and bonk people, I guess. I don’t know if that’s really true — it’s just what I’ve heard. 😀 ) Normally, they’re plain metal, but Queen’s Hospital got remodeled a couple of years ago, and apparently they decorated the rings around the palm trees on their lawn. 😀
