Now that I don’t go to the same school as my elementary school friends, I’ve made new friends at Punahou. I have many very good ones. They are kind and loyal to me, and I know they will always have my back. We enjoy talking story, and we can talk about anything and make it interesting. WE all have very similar likes, like sports, video games, and school. We get along very well, and well all stick together no matter what it is we are doing. My football coach told me that the friends I make today will be the friends I’ll have for the rest of my life, so I value my friends, and hopefuly I can keep them for the rest of my life.
小学校の友達は、別々の学校に行きました。それから、プナホウで新しい友達ができました。私はたくさん親友がいます。彼らはやさしく誠実です。そして、「いざ鎌倉」の時は、いつも励ましてくれます。私達はたいへん仲が良く、共通の話題があります。フットボールコーチは、「今、できた友達は、一生の友達になります」と言いました。それで、私は友達を大切にして、一生の友達にしたいと思います。

Congratulations on your good grades. It’s nice to know that you can maintain discipline in both studies and sports, isn’t it?
I agree about the friends you make. Several of my high school classmates and I have kept in touch over the years. The Internet makes it lots easier! I’m still very close to my college roommate, Gary. He’s retired from work as Chemical Engineer, and divides his time between home in Idaho and vacationing in Florida. And, of course, being a grandfather and visiting his children. If you are determined to keep in touch with a friend, you will do it, I am sure. Continued best of luck, Travis!

Thank you Kelly-san. Its been a bit challenging for me but luckily schol is a little more understanding fo its student athletes, so I have a chance for now. I hoped I can keep such a relationship with my friends as you had with yours. I always say, never forget!
