I am happy to be back in Honolulu again. I really enjoyed the Big Island, but I think the overall pace is a little too slow for me personally. We stayed at two different place and each place had their own personalities. The first place we stayed was at the Hapuna Prince. Wow! talk about a nice beach and a relaxing hotel. It was a place to find some solitude and peace of mind. The second place we stayed at was the Hilton Waikola village and it was a village, people from all over the world were there. It was like being at disneyland, they had small boats and a trains to ride on, since the property was so big. It was definetly more for families, but we still had a great time there. It was a little overwhelming at times with all the stuff to see and do. The funny thing that I thought about while there was how this whole imaginary world had been brought to life out in the middle of no-where on top of some lava rock. It is really a site to see when you are driving down the road and there is nothing to look at, but lava rocks and all of a sudden you pull into this huge resort with plants and all walks of life around you.
