Hawaii people are like everyone else just like in Japan. We are busy with work everyday, and unfortunately a lot of time is spent waiting in terrible Hawaii traffic. Not everyone in Hawaii goes to the beach, and not everyone here knows how to surf – it is more identified with the younger people or students who have the leisure to do so. Most Hawaii people are very family oriented so they will spend a lot of time with their families organizing potlucks with relatives where everyone brings their own special cooking.
