You know how when you first start cooking, you’re very careful to follow recipes and measure everything precisely, even when it’s something like two tablespoons of oyster sauce into tofu patties? Yesterday I progressed to the throw-in-whatever-you-feel-like stage of cooking! I had ground beef and no plan, so I decided to make burgerlets and threw in a whole lot of stuff, including mirin, sugar, and honey. Heh!
