Sometimes people do ridiculous things on the freeway!  Last week, I saw a guy riding a moped in the left shoulder lane on the freeway… and the fact that he was riding in the shoulder lane shows that he knew he wasn’t supposed to be there!  (Mopeds aren’t allowed on the freeway because they can usually only go up to 35 mph, and the speed limit is 40-50 mph.)

This morning, the right lane of the freeway was unusually slow, and I thought that some police people had pulled up behind a stalled car because saw blue flashy lights.  When I got closer, I saw that there were two motorcycle cops escorting an unkempt man who was pushing a shopping cart along the right side of the freeway!
