I signed up to make cupcakes for my office’s bake sale fundraiser, and I made the cupcakes last night, but I forgot to put in the baking soda!  When I checked on them in the oven, I was a little suprised that they weren’t rising — I didn’t realize that I’d forgotten the baking soda until I after I put the second batch in the oven.  Obviously, I didn’t bring my cupcake bricks to work today.  😀
