My father likes cars. Ever since I was little, I’ve had a camper at my house. However, it was infested with ants and we sold it. Some years after that, we bought another camper and, we have started to go camping in the last few years.

Getting ready to go camping is an enormous task. We barbeque our food or cook nabemono (clay hot pot dishes) over charcoal. I don’t help my mother out at home, but when we go camping I cut vegetables and things like that. Food tastes good when we are camping. At night, we sleep in the camper.

At the campgrounds, people come together from all over. They do things like showing each other the insides of their campers. There are even people who do things just as if they were at home. This year we went to Fukui prefecture. I made friends with the kid in the camper next to us and we played together a lot.

　お父さんは車が好きです。 私が小さいころから家にキャンピングカーがありました。 でも車に蟻がわいて売りました。 その後、何年かしてキャンピングカーを買って、数年前からキャンプに行くようになりました。

　キャンプに行く前は準備が大変です。 食事は、炭に火をつけて、バーベキューや鍋物をします。 私は家ではお母さんのお手伝いをしませんが、キャンプの時は野菜を切ったりします。 キャンプで食べるとおいしいです。 夜はキャンピングカーで寝ます。

　キャンプ場にはいろいろなところから集まってきます。 お互いのキャンピングカーの中を見せあったりします。 お家のようにしている人もいます。 今年は福井県に行きました。 となりに止めている車の子供と友達になっていっぱい遊びました。
