  • In this entry, you will learn how to insert pictures from your flickr account directly into your blog entry.
  • First of all, open the Nacos Nagaya page and type your blog entry as usual. When you are done writing your entry, open a new browser window, go to the flickr web site, and log in to your account.
  • Click on Yours to see all your photos. Click on the one you want to insert into your blog entry.
(If you click on the “ALL SIZES” link just above the picture, you will be presented with five options to choose from: Square, Thumbnail, Small, Medium, and Large.) Click on the size of the picture you would like to insert.
Next, right-click on the picture and select the “Copy picture location” option.
This is all you need to do on the flickr web site. Go back to the Nacos Nagaya site and continue with your post.

  • Return to your New Blog Entry window. Click in the spot that you would like to insert your picture.
Next click on the icon in the toolbar directly above the text entry field.
  • When you click on the icon, the “Image Properties” dialog box will appear.
Click inside the “URL” text field and press the Ctrl and V keys simultaneously to paste in the URL you copied from the flickr site. This will place the picture into your blog at that location. Once you do that, you can experiment by adjusting other properties of the picture, such as the alignment.

When it looks good to you, click OK.
  • That’s it! Try it, and you’ll see just how easy it is. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us here at Nacos.
