The airplane movie

We flew to Japan to visit friends in Tokyo during a vacation. The movie showing on the airplane was "Mummy," sort of a parody on horror movies. We each set up our own headphones and several times my daughter asked me questions about what was happening in the movie. I always laughed and answered, "How should I know?" Finally, when the movie was over, we agreed it was very silly. Hours later, after we had landed and were eating dinner at our friends' house, we told them about the movie. I said that I couldn't figure out what was happening because it was all in Japanese. My daughter looked at me with surprise and said, "No, Mom, it was in English!" We finally figured out that I had my headphone set to the wrong channel and listened to the whole movie in Japanese, while my daughter heard it all in English!
