Tonight we’re going to go to an event called Bayfest over in Kaneohe. It’s supposed to be like a carnival with rides and musical guests and at the end of every night they light off fire works to celebrate the 4th of July. I’ve never been to Bayfest before and I’m quite excited to check it out.

Yesterday we went to the pet store and got two Parrot Cichilds. These are little orange colored fish that look a little like Parrots. One is a boy named Kip and the other is a girl named Lafonda after the movie characters in Napaolean Dynamite.

きのう、私と妻はペットストアへ行って、熱帯魚を買いました。魚は、少しオレンジ色で、少しオウムに似ています。一匹はオスで、キップという名前です。もう一匹はメスで、ナポレオンダイナマイトの映画からラフォンダという名前を付けました。

My sister goes to school here in the fall and spring, but lives in Washington during the summer. She moved into our apartment with a bunch of her stuff right before she left to Washington for the summer. Our apartment is already so small that with these extra things it can be uncomfortable. Today I will move some of her stuff as well as ours into a storage unit. I hope this will lead to a more comfortable feeling inside of the apartment.

Since I don’t have to go to work today. I think it might be fun to go out and do a little shopping. Maybe I’ ll buy some things or maybe I won’t.

I know my apartment gets dirty fast, but it seems that my car can get dirty even faster. I cleaned up the car and washed it. It’s weird how such a simple act can feel so refreshing.
