I just bought a moped. It is so awesome to be able to pull right up to school and not have to worry about finding parking. I filled up my tank the other day with premium and it only cost me $1.55. How cool is that? However, I do have to be a defensive driver and watch my surroundings at all times. But other than that it is a really great feeling to get around town without having to spend so much on gas, maintanence and insurance.

モペッドマン

　モペッドを買いました。これは学校に行ってちょっと止めることが出来て、いやあ便利ですね。駐車場を探す心配が全くありません。ある日、モペッドにプレミアムを満タンにしたら、たった1ドル５５セントでした。カッコイイですね。しかし常にまわりに注意して、身を守りながら運転しなければなりません。しかしそれ以外に、ガソリンと維持費と保険代をあまり使わないで町を走るのは、最高にいい気持ちです。 Continue reading →

Summer is almost over and school is about to begin. I can’t wait to start learning different ideas and concepts again. I feel like I have peaked out on my knowledge as being a waiter. Being a waiter is great, especially as a college student. The schedule is flexible and the money is decent.However, being a waiter can only take me so far and I use my body more than my mind to produce income.I can’t wait to graduate and start putting my energy into some of my ideas.I want to work smarter, not harder. Last week a fire started in our apartment.It was pretty scary! Pua started to smell smoke and called me at work.It turns out that the fire was in our bedroom, The outlet had shorted out and caught our matteress on fire.Pua was able to put out the fire quickly and we called the landlord. He fixed the problem, but it smelt like a campfire in our room for a while and we have not had enough time to pick out a new matteress.It has been a little bit of an ordeal, but we are okay and nothing of value was lost and that is the important thing to us. Yesterday, a bunch of us from Compadres handed out free margarita cards at Ala Moana and Waikiki beach. It is something that we do every once and a while to try and get people into the restaurant. After working so hard on the beach, just kidding! We all went sailing on the Maitai Catamaran and we all had a really good time. They even stopped the boat and let us jump off into the crystal blue water. Continue reading →
