I measured our apartment yesterday and it’s about 364 square feet. I can’t believe we live in such a small space, but I’m sure it could be worse.  Some people live with their kids in such a small apartment. Hopefuly, someday my wife and I will look back and laugh about our first apartment.

My grandparents came into Honolulu yesterday and we ate dinner at Tiki’s. It was really nice to see them again, their here on Oahu till Thursday and then they head to Kauai. Their going to spend three weeks on Kauai, we might head over there and visit them as well.

My computer is alive again. I think it just overheated and crashed at that critical moment when my asssignment needed to be turned in. I guess sometimes that stuff just happens.

Just finished my winter session and I’m about to start school again on Monday. I’m taking 6 classes this spring semester, which feels like a lot since I’m working 2 jobs and taking Japanese lessons. Hopefully all goes well and I do a great job in all areas.

Well it actually happened and right after I had finished my last assignment for my class. I am talking about my computer crashing, unfortunatey I wasn’t able to get my assignment in on time, but was able to finish on my laptop. When my sister gets back to Hawaii I’ll have her take a look at it, but it might be dead.

Last night I went out with some friends after work and played a little pool. It had been a while since I had played, but I picked it back pretty fast and really enjoyed myself. I hope to be able to play more often so I get better at it.

Yeah! I got the job. Unfortanetly, the restuarant is still under construction and will not open till sometime in mid March, but I am in. The restaurant is a steak house called Ruth Chris and is little bit more on the fine dining side. What that means is that I will be learning a lot more  about wines and how they pair with certains foods. I will also be learing a lot more about restaurant etiquette and how to make the guests feel like kings or queens while they are dining with us.

    Tomorrow I have a job Interview with a new restaurant opening in Waikiki. I am very excited and hope that I get it. It will be a great opportunity for me to expand my restaurant skills and use my Japanese on a more day to day basis.

The new year is here and I felt like this might be the time to get my haircut. It was getting pretty long and it feels good to have less hair. I feel good about my new look and I am happy to leave the old hair behind, just like 2006 is now behind me.
