Preparation

It is not always easy for me to understand the value of preparation. Since, while I am preparing, it is hard work and I sometimes want immediate results. However, sometimes it takes many years before I see those tasks of preparation, bear any results. For example, I officially got my motorcycle license in 2001, but did not get my first motorcycle till 2009. However, I was ready and prepared, when the opportunity presented itself. Another example is that I have been studying Japanese since 2001, but have yet to really turn it into a vehicle that takes me places, besides basic conversations. However, as difficult as it is for me to understand the importance of my Japanese lessons at times, especially the Kanji that I am practicing now, some part of me knows that down the road some sort of opportunity with Japanese will present itself to me. I also know that becuase of my years of hard work I will be prepared to accept that opportunity, until then I will patiently practice Japanese.
