I love to shoot pool.  It’s one of my favorite things to do while killing time.  I am a pretty good player since I used to work at a poolhall.  I miss the game so much now days.  Nothing like running a 9 ball table and just watching your opponents look of defeat.  9 ball is a game where you must hit the balls in order.  The idea is to hit all the balls in on one try, this is called “running out”.  If you can accomplish this your opponent never has a chance to shoot.  One of my mentors at the poolhall could run a forever, it would go on rack after rack.  I heard he ran 7 racks in a row!  Can you just imagine sitting there wondering when the heck will I get to shoot!  When I watch someone who is really great at pool to me it’s like poetry in motion.  It’s like a dance that only an experienced player can really apreciate.  Myself, I’m no hustler or anything like that, I’m just to nice of a guy, but I love the intracies of great play.
