I remember doing some things as a child and thinking it was cool, but now looking back you really start to think man that was dumb.  I would play bb gun war with no eye wear.  I remember we would play and try not to shoot each other in the head but that little ball bearing is so light that the wind really changes it’s direction.  One instance 4 of us played and I accidently shot my friend in the face this made him bleed but he faked me out by having my brother come out and tell me he got shot in the face.  The whole time he was waiting for me in the opening to shoot me.  I remember the feeling of shock and awe as I was shoot and running thinking that I could get shot again.  I can still recall diving head first into a poki bush and getting cut up from the bush.  Talk about adding insult to injury.  I looked down to see where I had been shot to find that my pants had ripped and I was bleeding the ball bearing was still in my leg.  I remember my friends laughter taunting me as I was tending my wounds but thinking man are we dumb we really should stop I’m bleeding here and thinkgs are getting more crazy.  Later I remember calling a truce that I took very cautiously.  When I say my friend he had been shot in the face on his cheek.  Looking back now I can laugh but man how dumb were we.
