At the restaurant I have been working very hard trying to make as much money as I can.  I feel driven to try and get some savings going so I can move out on my own.  This is a huge step in the process to getting a place of my own.  Especially risky is the recent economy.  I am trying my best to see opportunity when people are seeing a problem.  I have heard that vast fortunes can be made during these times.  I believe the rich understand this and when the world is thinking that there is a problem, the rich are looking for a way to solve that problem.  Working with the problem, work with less to make more.  I also believe that the economy is getting worse because most people are saving money rather than spending.  Had the public not known about the recent bank and loan crisis affecting the economy spending would have stayed the same.  Now the people are scared and that fear is causing people to stop spending which is causing a domino affect.  That ignorance would have continued spending for automobiles.  Now with the money I have saved I’m thinking that I may put some in the stock market and some in some other money making ventures.  I have some money to risk but not much I will still have to be very vigilant.  The good thing is that homes are at their lowest but I believe loans will be very difficult to qualify for.  I have great credit but I’m still only one person.  On a single income is difficult to qualify for a loan in general.  What I would really like to do is maybe get a place with my brother as a combined effort, but my brother is terrible at saving money it’s as though we are opposites.  He loves to spend money but I like to only spend money on practical things.  If his qualities change just a little I would really like to work on getting a place.  My dream home would be very old fashion Japanese home.  Very much like something you might find in Kyoto.  I see it having a rock and sand garden with very simple but meaningful contributions.  Plus I would love to see a bamboo garden both in the house and around the house.  A beautiful pond with Koi would make things come to life.  I can just imagine it!  I know it’s going to cost a small fortune but I think it will be so gratifying when it’s done.
