Gas prices are skyrocketing and they may get even higher due to the hurricane in the mainland.  What will we do?  I live so far as is,  I don’t really have to many options if gas prices go up any higher.  Bush really didn’t help the economy at all.  Inflation is at it’s highest and doesn’t look as though it will stabilize.  If gas prices continue to rise then inflation will also go up as well, with things costing what they do how can anyone eek out a living.  They are saying that depending on how badly the hurricane hits, our prices may triple.  If that happens I will have to ride the bus or ride a bike to work just to make ends meet.  Our economy is based solely on the gas situation.  We need to find an alternate means for energy.  I feel this is a too little too late kind of scenario but we still need the change.  Stocks are dying and I think it will probably crash at this rate.  The future is looking very glum.  Something has to happen quickly and I am hopeful that with a new adminastration will come a brighter future I don’t think it can get any worse than status quo.
