The other week

I mentioned the other week that I feel like a small fish from a small pond, well I wanted to elaborate on that.  What I had meant was that I feel ultimately comfortable with my life as is, although I have bigger dreams I’d like to reach them from Hawaii.  Some people look at change as an adventure and some look at change as more of a difficulty, of these I believe I’m the latter.  Change scares me!  To me a big change like living abroad forever would be like jumping without a safety net.  Here in Hawaii not only do I have friends and family I have people who I can just lean on to when things get difficult.  When you do the living abroad it’s huge!  I think it’s the biggest reality check.  If things don’t go your way and your new to the area you just have to cope.  The search for the unknown is what really scares me.  I like to just simplify my life in general.  I think that the only place I would take that kind of risk for is Japan only because I love it’s culture and the girls are not bad to look at too!  To me the risk reward factor is worth it.  Japanese make life look so enjoyable!  The small things like taking pictures of a delicous meal or just enjoying everything that life can offer and being thankful.
