Recently my girlfriend has been wanting to live abroad, places on the Mainland like L.A. or maybe N.Y.C.   While visiting these places sounds fun and exciting living there doesn’t appeal to me.  I am a small fish from a small pond.  I love where I am where I come from and I don’t adjust to change that well.  I love the multicultural feel of Hawaii, you can find nothing like it anywhere.  So many cultures that are meshed together to create one sub-culture is great!  If she wants to live elsewhere I think she will have to do it alone.  While I think she might find it fun and exciting for the time being later it will be more of the same.  She grew up traveling the world and I think that she just loves change.  She gets bored with a particular place and time, she really probably doesn’t have a place she calls home.  I would love it if I could make it here in Hawaii but we will see.
