I am so amazed by some of our Japanese visitors.  I will be trying to speak Japanese and most of them already speak English.  So being curious by nature I ask how they learned and I found out most of them studied only in Japan and whats more is that most just studied in High school.  I wonder at how they can still remember so well and without anyone to continually practice with makes it seem so amazing.  I try to use as much Japanese as I can for as long as I can and still it seems foriegn to me.  Our guests being able to understand English makes the night more relaxed and fun because they can correct my Japanese and I can better explain some of their menu options.
