I just recently came back from a short vacation where I visited the always lovely island of Maui.  We stayed in Kihei which is very nice.  The hotel we stayed at was The Maui Coast Hotel that was ok for what we needed.  The weather was phenomenal!  Although a little hotter than I am used to being from Oahu it was very pleasant.  The island is so wide open and scenic beauty is unbelievable.  I only wish we played some golf,  we passed a few courses and was extremely interested in going but my girlfriend is still in the learning proccess and this might discourage her.  I only wish we had more time and a limitless budget to travel on.  On Maui its pretty much rest and relaxation nothing more to do than that.  The beaches were nice waves were nonexistant.  We drove up to see Twin Falls which was nice except for the fact that I slipped while climbing, banged my body and got my clothing dirty.  I had really wanted to drive to Hana and maybe have dinner there but that was changed because my clumsiness.  All in all Maui is great I think its my favorite spot to visit in the Hawaiian Islands.  What great fun!
