With anything new it will be difficult, also anything worth doing is difficult.  My teachers are very patient with me and make the learning experience both fun and comfortable.  They adapt to how they can best improve me.  They are not only teachers to me now they have become friends as well.  I hope that I can do them proud with each learning experience.  Sometimes I feel as though this is something I might not be able to learn but I realize that I am practically leaning to walk again and it is supposed to difficult.  I hope that my outlet of work and all the Japanese clientell we serve can help me improve because I do try to use as many phrases as I am taught in my day to day life.  I hear Japanese say that I speak very well but I know that I don’t.  Part of the reason they believe that I speak well is that for the most part I control which direction the conversation goes.  So I can steer them to the response I want to give.  In some instances the guests and myself our at a point where we do not understand what is trying to be said and for the most part I try to do my best at understanding, but the guest will usually give up on that particular topic and try something else.  I will try to better myself so that this scenario never happens again.
