Steaks

The other nite I was working and heard from a lot of my Japanese guests that the steaks we serve are very big.  So I was speaking to them as best as I could and found out that in Japan steak is only served at most 8oz. and this typically shared.  I am so amazed by this seeing as that the smallest steak we serve is 8oz. and that would only feed maybe a child for an American.  I know our steaks tend to be on the big size for Japanese.  There is a reason for this we butcher our own steaks so that we can make the steaks very thick, this makes our steaks very juicy and delicious.  Together with the hot plates and butter and chop parsley we add this makes our sizzle that we are famous for.  I just love watching the gasps of amazement by the Japanese on our steaks not only for its shear size but also for its presentation.

Really yeah – most everything regarding Japanese food is either small or served in moderate portions, in my experience. No wonder most Japanese are so fit! When I ordered a drink at their Starbucks(in Japan), their large is our small size – kinda cute.
