Yesterday at work, I got to work with some of the phrases that were just taught to me. This guest asked me questions, although I didn’t completely understand the whole question or structure, I was able to make out what he was asking me. He just wanted to know about me in general. I did as I practiced and used the phrases I was taught for the questions. Also we have been having more Japanese guests who understand and speak English, so they sometimes tell me things that I am using inappropriately which is a huge help.  I am extremely happy but it is still a long journey before I can ever speak japanese.
