Ruth Chris Steakhouse

I  currently work  at  Ruth  Chris  Steakhouse  in  Waikiki.   I really love my work, I get the privilege to meet new and exciting people everyday.  I also get very good pratice at hearing and trying to understand Japanese guest.  They are very polite and very patient with those who don’t speak or understand the language.  I guess the best thing about working in a restaurant is knowing that they left happy and that you probably made their night very special.  I try to get this response from all my guest.  The great thing about the restaurant I am working now is that it’s world-wide so if I wanted to transfer I think it could be arranged.  Right now they have a Ruth Chris in Tokyo, Japan.  This would be my ideal place to tranfer to, it would be just an incredible adventure for me.  But for this to happen I will have to really work on my Japanese (not an easy task).  I have great teachers who have a lot of patience with my english accent.  I will keep trying so that maybe I can transfer!  Ganbatte!

    Hi, Marc.

“Ganbatte” is used to say to somebody. If you want to say to yourself, it is “Ganbaruzo” (for single male), or “Ganbaro” (for a group of people).

I hope I am not making myself too overbearing.
