Hi! We had a major ice storm and lost electricity for several days at the first of Dec. Our entire county was without electricity, plus several nearby counties was without power for 3 to 14 days. The ice broke down trees everywhere it looked like and sounded like a war zone. It was a rough experience but everyone worked together and we all made it thru fine. One large tree fell on our house sounded like a bomb going off but amazingly, did not do any major damage. We thank God for it not hurting the house or us. Many trees did go through roofs of houses and some did hit people but no one in our town was injured seriously. Most of the bad injuries happened when people were cutting the broken trees down. Some people have been able to clean up most of their yards, ours will take months. To get a good understanding of the amount of people effected there was about 65,000 homes without electricity. Well enough about that we did have a great Christmas and we are looking forward to a great new year. We hope you all have a blessed new year in 2008. We will talked to you again soon.
