This summer, I competed in Hawaii`s AAU summer baseball leauge. In the end, it was Punahou, Iolani, and Kamehameha schools, in the final tourney. Punahou won, making us the number one team. So we traveled to Chicago Illinois, where the AAU championships are held. It was my first time going there, and I didn`t knoｗ what to expect. It was the biggest city I had ever been to. We stayed in a beautiful Hilton Hotel, with 5 star rooms. We played every other day, and made it to the semi finals. We lost, but we were still thrid place out of every team in America, and I still think that`s pretty good. When we didn`t play, we went shopping and went to see baseball games. We got to see two of the oldest teams in baseball, the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago White Sox. The White Sox were the reigning champions, so it was a great experience watching them. As we were walking around the town, something extrodinary happene. By chance, i saw Peter Wentz and Patrick Stump, two members from the rock band, `Fall Out Boy`. I got to talk to them and shake their hands, and even got them to autograph my shoe. I came back Saturday, and boy was Hawaii hot.
