I ate too much curry!

I ate too much curry. Shuzo wanted me to translate this in such a was as to capture the nuance of the original Japanese. Masaya often speaks (and writes) in a very informal way that is usually used among friends and could be considered somewhat rough or rude in the wrong situation. He used the word, "kuisugita," which is a rougher form of "tabesugita," which means "I ate too much." However, in English, if we ate too much curry we would just say, "I ate too much curry." The only difference between saying it informally would be in the intonation and the way we said it. If we just wanted to say, "I ate too much," we might say "I’m stuffed" or something like that, but I can’t think of a different way of saying, "I ate too much curry."
