On making cookies for the college festival. Somebody said, “We are making cookies, so can someone who has menbou please bring it.” So, even though I had already used half of them, I brought my cotton swabs (menbou). When I arrived, pleased with myself, I announced, “I’ve used some of them but please use the rest,” where upon I was met with blank stares. The menbou they had meant was a rolling pin!
