Haiku Poem – 雲の知らせ

billowy clouds
paint the Hawaiian skies
soon to be winter

(Jim Woodhull)
ふゆ の いろ くも の しらせ で そら を ぬる

The month of October is slowly coming to an end and as Hawaii heads towards winter the changes of the seasons bring days where the sky is full of big gray clouds that look like a heavy rain will start at any moment. This will actually continue all the way through Spring. Sometimes the weather will stay completely cloudy with the big gray clouds for a week at a time. I think it is very beautiful and a nice change from days and days of clear sunny skies but unfortunately not so good for the tourists that come here in the winter hoping for sunny skies!
