Autumn is coming

綿の雲ハワイの空に秋が来る
わた の くも　ハワイ の そら に　あき が くる

The beginning of September is here and even though the summer season is still here there are slight changes already happening. One of those changes is in the sky! At the height of summer in Hawaii the sky is usually a clear blue sky with a minimal amount of clouds but as fall slowly approaches, the skies over Hawaii begin to have big white clouds, especially in the afternoon. The change is very subtle and is not noticeable to the person that has not lived in Hawaii for a long time.

　九月になりました。まだ季節は夏ですが、わずかな変化が始まっています。一つの変化は、空です。夏の盛りのハワイの空は、ほとんど雲はなく、抜けるような青空です。秋がゆっくりやって来ると、ハワイの空には、大きくて白い雲が現れます。特に午後です。この変化はとても微妙で、長くハワイに住んだことのない人には分らないと思います。
