裏庭や変わる景色がここにあり
うらにわ や　かわる けしき が　ここ に あり

On our daily walks, my wife and I usually head towards China town, which is on the ocean side, then from there go to different sections of the down town area. Yesterday, we decided to go in the opposite direction, towards the mountains and I was surprised at all the really interesting scenery that is just in our back yard. There are some huge banyan trees, beautiful temples and churches along with some very scenic spots that I was not familiar with as we really never have a reason to go there. For the next few days we will be exploring our back yard!

　妻との毎日の散歩で私は、大抵、自宅から海の方へ向かいチャイナタウンまで行きます。そして、そこからダウンタウンの色々な所を歩きます。しかし、昨日は、山に向かって反対方向に歩くことにしました。私は、裏庭に面白い光景がたくさんあることに驚きました。巨大なガジュマルの木、美しいお寺や教会、その他にも、景色の良い所がたくさんありました。普段、私達は、そこに行く用事がなかったので、まったく知りませんでした。これから私達は、裏庭の面白いところを探すつもりです。
