My home is in Des Moines, Iowa. With the coming of spring, the weather started to get warm and buds appeared on the trees. Soon after that, flowers began to emerge. However, then the weather changed. It became cold again. Due to the low temperatures and recent rainfall, the flowers already fell from the trees. The good news is that the leaves and the grass are a verdant green.

　私の家はアイオワ州デモイン市にあります。当地では、春が来て少しずつ暖かくなり、蕾が木に現れ、まもなく、花が咲き始めました。しかしその後、天候が変わり、また寒くなりました。結局、低い温度と降り続く雨の為、花は散ってしまいました。良いニュースと言えば、葉と芝生が新鮮な緑色になったことです。
