This past December my wife and I celebrated our 30th year Anniversary! Since that time of the year is very busy for us we were not able to go anywhere and may take a short trip when it is not busy. Instead, we went to what may people consider is the best sushi restaurant in Oahu for our Anniversary dinner. It was extremely expensive but the best sushi I have ever eaten! Unfortunately, since it was so expensive I won’t be able to eat there until our next 30 years have gone by! I can’t believe that 30 years has gone by! It really has gone by in a flash! It seems like we were going over our wedding plans yesterday and all of a sudden we are celebrating our 30th Anniversary. The years we spent in Japan and the years following our return to Hawaii are just a blur! So now we look forward to our next 30 years!

　去年、私たち夫婦は、３０回目の結婚記念日を迎えました。しかし、その時期は、非常に忙しい時なので、どこにも行くことができませんでした。忙しくない時期に小旅行をするかも知れません。その日は、代わりに、オアフ島で評判の寿司屋さんで結婚記念日の夕食をしました。すごく高かったですが、今までで最高のお寿司でした。残念ですが、その店は、すごく高いので、次の３０年が来るまで行けません！　結婚して３０年も経ったなんて信じられません。それは本当に一瞬の出来事でした。まるで、昨日、結婚式の計画を練っていたのに、突然、結婚３０周年を迎えたような気持ちです。日本で過ごした時間とハワイに戻って過ごした時間は、あっと言う間に過ぎました。次の３０年を楽しみにしています。
