Haiku Poem – 引越し

dragging feet
mountains of things
moving day

あとまわし つもりつもって おひっこし

I really hate moving! My wife and I had to move after living in the same house for 16 years and I could not believe all of the things that we had accumulated! My wife is a collector but I am the opposite so it was very hard for me to have to deal with so much stuff! Moving day actually lasted one month as we were fortunate to have had a lot of time so we moved on our days off. I was so happy when everything was done!
