In a Small Forest – – The Old Fujisawa Country Club



One evening, after a rain shower, I set out into a small forest in my neighborhood for a walk. This particular forest conceals a building from the old Fujisawa Country Club. I love passing by that building whenever I take short walks.

Near the building, the trees are a deep shade of green, and there is an air of tranquility not unlike that of a mountain plateu. Add to this the singing of cicadas: “miiin, min min.”

For a small person in a small forest, it’s a lot of fun.


夕方、通り雨のあと、ご近所の小さな森を散歩しました。
森の中には、旧藤沢カントリー倶楽部の建物があります。
短い散歩の時には、いつもここを通り抜けます。

深い緑の木々。
高原のように澄んだ空気と静けさ。
そして、蝉の声。みーん、みんみん。
小さな森の小さな私の楽しみです。
